Main opposition party CPN-UML obstructed House proceedings on Wednesday for not resuming counting of votes in Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Chitwan.
UML candidate Devi Gyawali was leading the mayoral race over CPN (Maoist Center) Renu Dahal when the counting was stopped.
Some Maoist Center's cadres allegedly tore ballot papers of Bharapur-19 leading to the postponement of vote counting.
Speaker Onsari Gharti Magar postponed the meeting for Thursday following the obstruction.
