Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal will address the nation from Singha Durbar at 4 pm on Wednesday, his personal secretary Prakash Dahal informed.
Secretary Dahal posted a message on Facebook and invited media persons to the programme at the central government secretariat.
Though not confirmed, Dahal is likely to announce his resignation from PM post to pave the way for Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba to take over the government helm.
PM Dahal's attempt to address the parliament on Tuesday was foiled by CPN-UML whose lawmakers obstructed the parliament meeting protesting the government decision of increasing number of local units in Tarai districts.
