The meeting of the Legislature Parliament has been postponed for Thursday after major parties failed to reach any consensus.
The parliament secretariat informed the Parliament meeting has been postponed for 4 pm Thursday.
UML had obstructed the meeting on Tuesday protesting the government's decision to increase number of local units in Tarai districts.
The postponement of the parliament has affected the pre-discussion on the budget. The PM's address to the parliament has also been halted.
