Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the Indian government would help Nepal government to successfully conclude the local level elections slated for May 14 and June 14.
The Indian Prime Minister made a telephone call to his Nepali counterpart Pushpa Kamal Dahal at 4 pm on Tuesday and wished for the successful completion of the local polls, according to PM Dahal’s Secretariat.
During the telephone conversation, Indian PM Modi reportedly said that bringing all the political forces onboard the elections was a successful initiative of PM Dahal.
In response, PM Dahal thanked PM Modi for his words and said that the Nepal government would hold the elections on the announced dates in order to implement the constitution.
