A former Home Secretary died after being hit by a motorbike in Anamnagar, KMC-29, on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Padam Raj Subedi, 79, of the same area.
Critically injured in the incident, Subedi was rushed to the Thapathali-based Norvic Hospital which later referred him to the Maitighar-based Annapurna Neuro Hospital where he breathed his last during the course of treatment.
The two-wheeler (Ba 89 Pa 4393) hit Subedi yesterday.
Police said that they are looking into the case.
