A teenage girl died after a tanker hit a motorbike at Gatthaghar in Bhaktapur on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as pillion rider Sushma Kutu, 19.
The tanker (Na 4 Kha 5258) heading towards Kathmandu from Bhaktapur hit the two-wheeler (Ba 83 Pa 9432) last night, according to the Metropolitan Police Cricle, Thimi.
Critically injured in the incident, Kutu breathed her last in course of treatment at the Gatthaghar-based Nagarik Hospital, DSP Shyam Oli said.
Police said that they have impounded the tanker and arrested its driver for investigation.
