Police on Monday arrested a man for his alleged involvement in extortion pretending to be a policeman.
Keshav Singh, 27, of Kanchanpur, a temporary resident of Sukedhara in Kathmandu, has been arrested for allegedly trying to extort money and a mobile phone from Subham Bogati of Gugada-3, Doti, presently living at Mahadevsthan in Koteshwor of KMC-35.
Singh was arrested while he was trying to extort money and the mobile phone from Bogati posing himself as a policeman, police informed.
Police said that they are looking into the case.
