Sanghiya Gathabandhan, an alliance of Madhesi and Janajati parties, has decided to announce fresh protest programmes to disrupt local bodies election.
A meeting of the parties associated in the alliance in Tinkune on Saturday decided to hold protests from April 18 to May 14. The details of the programmes will be made public amid a press meet on Sunday afternoon. The local bodies election is scheduled for May 14.
Senior leaders of the alliance had given final touches to the protests on Saturday morning. The protests programmes includes demonstrations, picketing and general strike.
