President Bidhya Devi Bhandari offered condolences to the family of Nepali Congress leader Gyanendra Bahadur Karki mourning the death of Karki's father.

President Bhandari reached Karki's residence in Bhaisepati to offer her condolences to the bereaving family. Bhandari also shares a family relation with NC leader Karki. Karki is cousin of president Bhandari.

Karki's father Krishna Mohan Karki passed away on Thursday at the age of 86.
