Two unidentified motorbike-borne persons robbed a man of a gold chain weighing 21 gm and Rs 49,000 in cash in Sinamangal, KMC-9 on Wednesday.
According to a complaint lodged with police, the duo posing themselves as police in civvies checked a bag of Umesh Rai, 31, of Malanguwa, Salarhi, and decamped with the cash and gold ornaments worth around Rs 149,000.
Police said that they are investigating into the case.
