Four wildlife traders have been arrested with a piece of red panda skin in Kathmandu.

Four wildlife traders have been arrested with a piece of red panda skin in Kathmandu.
A team of Nepal Police Crime Investigation Division arrested the four from Newroad Gate in the Capital on Sunday while they were out to sell the skin of endangered species. The arrestees are Dharma Raj Malla, Purna Bahadur Singh, Jeewan Singh and Roshan Kumar Malla of Kalikot district.
They have been hande over to Kathmandu District Forest Office to press charges against them under the National Park and Wildlife Conservation Act-1973.
Police investigation has revealed that Jeewan Singh brought the red panda skin from Nepalgunj, on March 29 and he was working hand in glove with Dharma Raj Mall and two others to sell it for Rs 850,000.
