An inmate, who was doing his time on murder charge at the Lalitpur-based Nakhu jail, died while undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital in the Capital on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Keshar Sijapti, 47, of Pokharidanda-9 of Surkhet.

He was taken to the hospital after he complained of kidney pain.
