An inmate, who was doing his time on human trafficking charge at the central jail in Kathmandu, died while undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital in the Capital on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Bir Bahadur BK, 62, of Aginthok-8, Dhading district.

He was taken to the hospital after he complained of chest pain on March 6.
