Police said that two incidents of property crime were reported in the Capital on Tuesday.

Property worth around Rs 341,000 was stolen from a house at Shivashakti Tole in Kapan of Budhanilkantha Municipality-12.

According to a complaint lodged with police, unidentified thieves barged into the house of Binaya Kumar Regmi after breaking the window and decamped with various gold ornaments and cash.

The house was unattended when the incident occurred.

Similarly, cash and gold ornaments worth around Rs 125,000 were stolen from a rented from in Kalimati, KMC-13.

Police said that Rs 20,000 in cash and various gold ornaments were stolen from the room of Jaya Ram Tamang of Parkhul-6, Makwanpur district.

The room was unattended when the incident took place.

Police said that they are looking into both cases.
