A motorbike rider died when his bike hit a pedestrian at Radheradhe of Madhaypur Thimi Municipality in Bhaktapur on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Sajan Bhujel, 25, of Sarlahi, currently residing at Dhadikot-4 in Suryabinayak Municipality-4 of Bhaktapur.
Critically injured, Bhujel was rushed to Norvic Hospital in Kathmandu where he breathed his last during the course of treatment.
DSP Krishna Prasai said that pedestrian Luchhe Maya Bhaubanjar, 25, was injured in the incident.
Police said that they have impounded the two-wheeler (Ba 73 Pa 5337) for investigation.
