14-year-old boy held on charge of knife attack

Police on Thursday arrested a 14-year-old boy for his alleged involvement in attacking Dipendra Pariyar, 19, of Maidi-7, Dhading, currently residing at Bijeshwori, KMC-15, with a knife.
The suspect has been identified as Sangam Tamang of Chilime, Rasuwa, presently living at Bijeshwori, KMC-14.
Police said that Tamang allegedly attacked Pariyar with the knife over a minor dispute.
Injured in the incident, Pariyar was initially taken to the Manmohan Memorial Hospital, Swoyambhu, for treatment and then referred to Trauma Centre in Bir Hospital.
Police said that they are looking into the case.
