Chief of Army General Staff Rajendra Chhetri on Monday conferred insignia on Major General Tara Bahadur Karki, information officer and spokesperson for the Nepal Army, at a special function organised at the Army Headquarters in the Capital. Karki was promoted to the post of honorary major general from brigadier general by the Cabinet last week for his special contribution in the national defence force. Along with Karki, CoAS Chhetri also conferred insignia on Brigadier General (pilot) Kumar Rayamajhi, the Directorate of Public Relations of the NA said in a press statement.
