The International Relations and Labour Committee of the Legislature Parliament has directed the government to fulfill the vacant ambassadorial positions to various countries.
A meeting of the committee in Singhadurbar on Tuesday directed Foreign Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat to appoint envoys to various countries. In response, Minister Mahat said government is preparing to appoint envoys at the earliest.
Government has failed to appoint ambassadors to over a dozen countries.
