Journalists have not been allowed to enter a meeting of parliamentary committee convened to discuss the impeachment motion registered against Lokman Singh Karki, who was disqualified as chief of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) by the Supreme Court (SC).
The Impeachment Recommendation Committee (IRC) of the Parliament has convened a meeting with experts to seek legal advice on how to conclude the issue of impeachment motion against Lokman Singh Karki in the context of SC verdict to invalidate his appointment as chief of anti-graft body.
This is the second incident in which media persons were not allowed access to the parliamentary committee meeting.
