Morning rally held on Yoga Day

Inaugurating the rally organized by the Main Organizing Committee, Committee's Chair and Minister for Education Dhaniram Poudel stressed wider publicity of Yoga from Nepal where, he argued, orientated the yoga.
The rally that commenced through Shahidgate-Dharahara-New Road- Asan concluded in Shantibatika.
Minister Poudel further insisted to incorporate Yoga and meditation in the educational institutions, including colleges, as he said that these practices would help students in their academic activities.
Present in the rally were the members of the Brahma Kumari Rajyog Sewa Kendra, Jiv Bigyan Kendra, Nepal Sanskrit University and former Yoga Students' Association among others.
Meanwhile, a bicycle rally was organized at Jawalakhel in Lalitpur district where a total to 60 cyclists held placards and national flags promoting the practice of yoga and towed various places in Kathmandu and Lalitpur. RSS
