Govt decision to sack NRA CEO wrong: Oli
CPN-UML KP Sharma Oli said it was wrongful for the incumbent government to sack National Reconstruction Authority CEO Sushil Gyewali.CPN-UML KP Sharma Oli said it was wrongful for the incumbent government to sack National Reconstruction Authority CEO Sushil Gyewali.
At a press meet at party office in Dhumbarahi, Oli accused the ruling parties of sacking Gyewali to recruit their cadre to the post. "At times when the quakes affected are still living under temporary shelter, government has removed the CEO to replace him with their cadre," said Oli.
Oli said only 65 posts were fulfilled out of required 165 posts and blamed the government of not supporting the reconstruction body. "Government doesn't provide necessary employees and seek clarification for not performing well," he remarked.
Government's decision to sack the NRA CEO when it was being lauded even by the donor agencies for its work is wrong, Oli added.
Gyewali was appointed NRA CEO by Oli-led government on December 25, 2015, for five years.
