The Legislature-Parliament meeting has been postponed for six days after ruling and opposition parties refused to budge from their respective stances.
Speaker Onsari Gharti Magar's press advisor Babin Sharma said the meeting was postponed after parties assured of finding a consensus by next parliament meeting.
Opposition parties have been obstructing the parliament meeting claiming the amendment bill registered before it as unconstitutional.
The next parliament meeting will convene on Sunday.
