Nepali Congress picks 25 CWC members under open category

The vote counting for 25 Nepali Congress Central Working Committee (CWC) members under open category ended on Monday, with Sekhar Koirala securing the highest 1848 votes.
Khum Bahadur Khadka secured the second highest 1846 votes followed by Prakash Man Singh 1795 votes.
According to the count result, 14 members from Sher Bahadur Deuba panel won the election, while 11 members from Ram Chandra Poudel panel made it among the 25 members. Bishwo Prakash Sharma, and Ramesh Lekhak are the new faces in the CWC from open category. Then President Sushil Koirala had appointed Poudel as a CWC member.
