Ambassadors from various countries on Monday presented their credentials to President Bidhya Devi Bhandari amid a function at the Office of the President. Credence Andrey Budnik, Ambassador of Russian Federation; Mazhar Javed, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan; Yves Carmona, Ambassador of the French Republic; and Ahmed Saleem, Ambassador of the Maldives present their credentials to President Bhandari.
Budnik, Javed and Carmona are residential ambassadors and Saleem, stationed in Islamabad, concurrently oversees Nepal. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Kamal Thapa, Chief of the Army Staff General Rajendra Chettri and other senior Nepal government officials were present during the ceremony.
