Dhanapati Sapkota, head of the Capital’s Municipal Police, has been promoted to the rank of Deputy Superintendant. He was conferred insignia of DSP by chief and executive officer of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Rudra Singh Tamang on Thursday.
Sapkota, who also heads KMC’s Enforcement Division, had joined Municipal Police in 1998. He was promoted to Inspector in 2003 and has been heading the Division since.
