Kathmandu District Court on Monday released prominent Janajati leader Ang Kaji Sherpa on a bail of Rs 20,000.
Nepal Police had arrested Sherpa on September 2 on the charge of Cyber Crime. He was accused of making provocative statements in the social media sites.
Sherpa is a Central Committee member of Sanghiya Samajwadi Forum Nepal. He was also a former General Secretary of Nepal Adivasi Janajati Mahasangh.
