Police have arrested a constable of the Armed Police Force (APF) on the charge of murdering a woman from Baitadi.

Police Inspector Lok Raj Joshi, spokesperson at Baitadi Police Office, said constable Bharatram Koli was arrested from a bus park in Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur on Sunday morning.

Koli is accused of murdering Maya Luhar of Pancheshwar Rural Municipality-4 of Baitadi district and injuring her niece Neha.

“We have arrested a person allegedly involved in the murder. A further investigation into the case will be done after bringing the accused to Baitadi,” said Joshi.
