Baitadi has been declared a fully literate district.
Education Minister Girirajmani Pokharel formally declared the district as literate amid a function in the district on Friday.
There are 10 local units in the district.
All of the local units were declared literate by mid-June, 2018.
Narendra Prasad Awasthi, chief at the Education Development and Coordination Unit, said the literacy percent of the district stands at 96.53.
