The Kantipur Max HD is all set to broadcast live the matches of CAVA Men’s Volleyball Club Championship to be held in Nepal from December 7 to 14.

The broadcast partnership was formalised through an agreement between Kantipur Television and Hamro Khelkud.

Shishir Pachhai, CEO of Kantipur TV, and Prakash Timalsina, editor of Hamro Khelkud, signed the agreement. The championship matches will be telecasted live on Kantipur Max HD, with additional streaming on Hamro Khelkud’s YouTube channel.

The championship, to be conducted in Tripureshwar, Kathmandu, will feature five clubs, including two from Nepal, and one each from India, the Maldives, and Iran.

The Tip Top Help Nepal Sports Club and Gandaki Province Team were selected for the championship as the winner and runner-up of the 8th PM Cup NVA League.

Other teams include Calicut Club from India, HDC Club from the Maldives, and Chadormalu Club from Iran.

The competition will include 14 matches, starting with a single round-robin format, followed by semi-finals, a third-place play-off, and the final.

This is the second CAVA tournament organised by the Nepal Volleyball Association this year. In August, the CAVA Women’s Volleyball Nations League was held in Kathmandu, where India emerged the champions, and Nepal secured the runners-up position.
