India came from behind to defeat Nepal 2-1 in the final of the Saff U-15 Football Championship at Anfa Complex in Satdobato on Sunday.

Nepal looked poor in their defending and defenders were at fault when Lal Rokima and captain Bikram Pratap Singh scored for India.

Nepal had taken a first half lead through Birjesh Kumar Chaudhary's penalty after Ranjan Pun was brought inside the box on 41st minute.

But India looked composed despite conceding the goal and found a way back after Nepali defenders failed to clear the ball only for Rokima to dribble past two defenders and hammer it home on 60th minute.

The goal gave them a confidence boost and skipper Singh scored the decisive goal on 75th minute.

Nepal looked to get back into the game but were let down by their poor possession on the ball.
