Tahachal Futsal and Kickoff Futsal recorded wins in the highest cash-prized first Red Bull National Futsal League on Thursday.

Playing at their home turf Tahachal defeated Busy Brothers 2-0 with goals from Sunil Basnet and Ram Kumar Kumal, who was later named man-of-the-match.

In another game, Kickoff hammered home team Adarsha Futsal 4-1. Man-of-the-match Bijay Shrestha, Krishna Lama, Prabesh Joshi and Usan KC struck for Kickoff, while Aviraj Rijal pulled one back for the hosts.

In all 16 teams are participating it the tournament that offers Rs 1 million and the runners-up will walk away with Rs 500,000. The best player of the tournament and the best goalkeeper will get a cash purse of Rs 50,000 apiece. The tournament will halt during Dashain and Tihar.
