The match held at the ANFA complex ground in Satdobato ended in a draw, and thus leading to sharing of points between the two clubs.
Three Star had taken the lead in the 37th minute with Sagar Thapa’s goal, which was neutralised three minutes later by Jumanu Rai of NPC. TSC took the lead again in the second half with a goal from Santosh Sahukhala in the 69th minute. However, a goal by Yogesh Shrestha in the 83rd minute brought the match to a 2-2 draw, which also stayed until the end.
On a personal front, Santosh Sahukhala created a new record of goals scored today, taking his tally to 97 personal goals.
Following today's match, TSC stands in the third position with 16 points. Nepal Army and Jhapa Football Club remain in the first and second position with equal 17 points so far.
