Father and daughter dead in scooter accident in Bardiya

A scooter accident in Bardiya has claimed the lives of a father and his young daughter. The incident occurred on Sunday when a scooter (Ba- 6-7036) collided with a stationary tractor (Bhe- 1-9062) on Hulaki Road near the Guleriya District Hospital.
Kedar Khanal, superintendent of police shared that the victims, 32-year-old Ramkumar Sah and his 6-year-old daughter Vidya, succumbed to their injuries at the district hospital.
He said that Ramkumar’s wife and son were injured in the accident and are receiving treatment at the same hospital. There were four riding the scooter at the time of the crash.
The police have arrested the tractor driver in connection with the accident, and further investigations are underway.
