Butwal
An elderly couple and driver died when a Mahindra Bolero crashed at Tinau bridge in Butwal on Saturday.
According to the Area Police Office in Butwal, Tilak Ram Khanal, aged 71, his wife Gauri Khanal, aged 67, of Nayagaun in Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City-12 and driver Hari Neupane died in the incident.
The accident took place while Gauri, an asthma patient, was being taken to Lumbini Provincial Hospital for treatment.
The speeding vehicle hit the divider at the Butwal side of the bridge and overturned, said police. The bodies were taken to the provincial hospital for postmortem.
