A tipper driver was killed in an accident in Banglachuli Rural Municipality on Monday.
The tipper was travelling from Ghorahi to Banglachuli when it crashed at Jumlepani in ward 4 around 1 am.
The driver, 29-year-old Prabhu Chaudhary of ward 7 in Gadhawa Rural Municipality, died in the accident, according to Superintendent of Police Arjun Prasad Timilsina, chief of District Police Office, Dang.
The vehicle plunged 80 metres off the road, police said.
