Man held on charge of murdering wife

On Monday, police here arrested a man accused of killing his wife.
The suspect, a resident of ward 16 of Ramgram Municipality in West Nawalparasi, was absconding after killing his wife with a sharp weapon on May 3, according to police.
According to Sundarsan Panthi, information officer at West Nawalparasi District Police Office, the man was on the run after the incident.
He was arrested from Palhinandan Rural Municipality, on the border of Nepal and India.
The district court has remanded the man into judicial custody, and further investigation into the case is going on, said Panthi.
