Kapilvastu
A 25-year-old man from Banaganga Municipality-8, Kapilvastu, bludgeoned his father to death on Monday night.
According to the Area Police Office in Pipara, Bikas Pariyar, under the influence of alcohol, thrashed his father Bal Bahadur Pariyar, aged 60, with a wooden plant over a family dispute.
Critically injured Bal Bahadur died in the course of treatment in Pipara Hospital.
According to the locals, the son and the father often quarreled over family disputes.
The accused is taken into custody for investigation, said police.
