Two people died after they were hit by lightning in Dangisharan Rural Municipality of Dang district on Saturday afternoon.
Superintendent of Police Bir Bahadur Oli, who is also Dang District Police chief, said a 37-year-old man from Dangisharan-3 and a 32-year-old man from Dangisharan-6 died after they were struck by the thunderbolt while working in the field.
The duo breathed last while receiving treatment at the Tulsipur-based Rapti Provincial Hospital, said Oli.
