Six people injured in road accident in Rolpa

Six passengers were injured in a jeep accident at Dharamkhola, Tribeni Rural Municipality-6 on Saturday afternoon.
According to police, the vehicle was heading towards Lingdung when the accident occurred. The jeep fell some 10 metres down the road while trying to make a turn at Dharamkhola.
Four women and two men including the driver of the vehicle sustained injuries during the incident, said police.
A team of police personnel from the Police Post in Nerpa rescued the injured with the help of the locals. The injured were taken to a hospital in Dang for treatment.
“The injured are out of danger. The police are investigating the cause of the accident,” said Navraj Sapkota, chief district officer.
