A dead body was found on the bank of Narayani river in ward 9 of Gaindakot Municipality in East Nawalparasi on Monday.

 According to the District Police Office, the body of a man in his early sixties was swept away by the river and recovered at Thumsi area.

“The body is beyond recognition. Investigation is on to identify the body,” said Deputy Superintendent of Police Bed Bahadur Paudel.
