615 kg marijuana seized from animal shed

Police arrested a 46-year-old man on the charge of possessing a huge cache of marijuana from ward 7 of Hariharpurgadhi Rural Municipality in Sindhuli district on Sunday.
According to Superintendent of Police Govinda Raj Kafle, a police team from the Area Police Office in Kapilakot seized 615 kg marijuana from an animal shed in Chisapani. Kumar Pakhrin, a permanent resident of Katari in Udayapur district and currently staying in Chisapani area of Sindhuli, was detained with the marijuana.
Detailed investigation is going on into the case, said police.
