A man died in a motorcycle accident at Birtadeurali Rural Municipality-8 in Kavre district on Thursday. One other was injured.

According to Sub Inspector Raj Kumar Shrestha, information officer at Kavre District Police Office, the 25-year-old motorcyclist from Roshi Rural Municipality-9 died in the accident.

Severely injured in the accident, the rider was rushed to the Dhulikhel Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10pm on Wednesday. Another man, 40, from Temal Rural Municipality-5 sustained minor injuries in the accident, said Shrestha.

The accident occurred after the two-wheeler lost control, police say.
