Two killed, 21 injured in Narayanghat-Mugling road accident

At least two people died and 21 others were injured in a road accident on the Narayanghat-Mugling road section on Sunday midnight.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhesraj Rijal, the accident occurred after four vehicles—three buses and a truck—collided in ward 29 of Bharatpur Metropolitan City at around 12:30am.
Truck conductor Rajan Subedi, 21, who had sustained serious injuries in the accident, breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the Chitwan Medical College in Bharatpur, police said.
The identity of the other deceased, a teenage boy, who also died in the course of treatment at the Bharatpur-based hospital, has not been ascertained.
All the injured have also been admitted to the same hospital. Of them, seven are in critical condition, police said.
Two-way traffic has resumed on the road section which had been blocked for four hours following the accident.
