Male rhino found dead in Chitwan

A male rhino of about 12 years of age was found dead inside the Belsahar Buffer Zone Community Forest in ward 13 of Bharatpur Metropolis on Saturday.
The rhino was found stuck in a creek near the Rapti river.
Ganesh Prasad Tiwari, conservation officer at the Chitwan National Park, said the rhino died in a fight with another rhino.
As many as 13 rhinos died in Chitwan over the past seven months. Out of 752 rhino population in the country, Chitwan is home to 694 rhinos.
