A magnitude 4.6 earthquake jolted Sindhupalchok and adjoining districts on Thursday morning.
According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre, the earthquake with epicentre at Tinkunda of Sindhupalchok district was recorded at 10:17am.
The jolt was felt in the capital city Kathmandu as well.
Details of the earthquake’s damage were not immediately available.
On December 31, a magnitude 5 earthquake with its epicentre at Listikot in Sindhupalchok struck the district and adjoining areas.
