Municipal labourer dies in landslide

A 32-year-old worker from ward 12 in Belkotgadi Municipality of Nuwakot died in a landslide while cleaning roadside drainage at Lamachaur in Belkotgadi-2, on Thursday.
According to DSP Khagendra Bahadur Khadka, information officer of the district police office, the search and rescue team has confirmed that the worker died on the spot.
The body has been sent to the district hospital in Trishuli for post-mortem, following which it will be handed over to the victim’s family, Khadka said.
