At least 16 passengers were injured when a microbus rammed into a parked tipper truck at Bharatpur Metropolis-29, Simaltaal along the Narayangadh-Muglin road section on Sunday.

Deputy Superintended Bijay Raj Pandit, spokesperson for Chitwan District Police Office, said two passengers were seriously injured, while others sustained minor injuries.

The mishap happened at around 4:45pm, police said, adding the injured are being treated in different hospitals in Chitwan.
