19 injured as bus hits parked truck in Bara

Nineteen people were injured when a bus crashed into a parked truck near bridge number 3 in ward 22 of Jitpur Simara Sub-metropolitan City along the Pathlaiya-Hetauda road section in Bara district.
The truck, loaded with coal, was parked on the roadside due to a mechanical failure when the incident occurred on Monday.
The bus travelling to Pokhara from Kakarbhitta hit the parked truck and veered about five metres off the road, police said.
Sub-Inspector of Police Subhadra Tamang said the bus driver has been taken into custody for investigation.
