One killed, another injured in Saptari motorcycle crash

A man was killed and another seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in Saptari on Wednesday night.
The crash occurred at Badgama in ward 10 of Kanchanrup Municipality along the East-West Highway after the motorcyclist lost control.
According to Superintendent of Police Dhakendra Khatiwada, rider Vikram Banjara, 27, of ward 12 of Kanchanrup Municipality, died while undergoing treatment at Nobel Hospital in Biratnagar on Thursday morning.
Pillion rider Santosh Isar, 34, of ward 4 of Rupani Rural Municipality, sustained serious injuries and is receiving treatment at the same hospital.
Police said they are further investigating.
