Two Indian nationals arrested with pistol in Kapilvastu

Police have apprehended two Indian nationals with a pistol in Kapilvastu on Friday evening.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Hari Bahadur Oli, the Indian nationals, pillion riders on Pritam Kumar's motorcycle, were arrested with illegal ammunition. They were en route to Krishnanangar from Chandrauta in Krishnanagar Municipality-8, Kapilvastu.
"A pistol marked 'Made in Kanpur' and five rounds of bullets were recovered from Suraj Dwivedi, 22, of Devapar Harnakha, Uttarpradesh, India," Oli said.
Some illegal drugs were also recovered from the arrestees.
Police are investigating for further details, he said.
